the 24th of July

The morning of the 24th the boys headed to the parade with Grandma and papa, While mom and Dad slept in. Thank you mom! They saw Aunt Jess doing her Color Guard Routine, played in the water fountains, and visited Tracey Aviary.

That afternoon we had the some family over for a barbecue and fireworks in the backyard. The boys had a lot of fun watching dad be creative(stupid) with the fireworks. I wont be surprised when my boys try to make firecracker bombs when they get a little older. On a whole the day was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Oh and the best part of the night was when Dad decided to start throwing the flowers only to have one jump right back at him. I don't think I have every seen him jump so high, it was hilarious!

Cabin Fun

A while ago the boys and I had the opportunity to go to my family's cabin. The boys had a lot of fun in the great outdoors. Some of our fun activities included hiking, making bows and arrows, feeding the horses, throwing snowballs at each other, spooking the elk herd, finding a porcupine, and relaxing by the bonfire. The boys did a rain dance around the fire, and, sure enough, it rained the next afternoon. They were so excited. Hopefully dad can go next time.

Number Four

Okay, it's time to let the cat out of the bag. We are excited to announce that we are expecting child number 4. This pregnancy has been a lot harder. Rob has taken over the cooking, the cleaning and has spent a lot of time with the kids...

We are 13 weeks along and we are hoping for a little girl. Robbie keeps asking when we get to find out if it is a girl, he is so excited. Tanner says he doesn't care what it is. I love how laid back he is. And, Westin keeps calling it his baby and says that he will share with dad if he has to.

We are just all so happy that everything is going well and hoping that I feel better as we enter the second trimester.

Trip to Coeur d' Alene

We had a great 4Th of July visiting Jennie, Brandan and Ani. We went boating, hiking, kayaking and even managed to go to the Amusement Park. It was beautiful and the weather was a lot cooler. The boys enjoyed the the wildlife, we saw deer, elk, wild turkey, bald eagle, osprey, and a bear. The bear actually ran in front of our car,the boys got a great view. I was so proud of the boys they were great on the 11hour road trip. The boys can't wait to see Ani again and keep talking about all the fun they had.
