Westin's 1st Day

Wes had his first day of all day school today. He had a hard time getting up, he is use to sleeping longer than the other boys but he was super excited to go. It was a little weird having all the boys gone. My house seemed a little to quiet, and I was the only one around to entertain Kathryn. I will say that it was easy to get the basement clean with my messy boys at school. I am super glad that the boys enjoy school and I hope they have an amazing year.

Back to School

Robbie: 4th grade with Mrs Broderick

Tanner: 2nd grade with Mrs. Evans

Westin: 1st grade with Ms. Snow and Mrs. Lee. He didn't go all today today but we got to go and meet Ms. Snow.

One Last Adventure....

We decided to have one last adventure before going back to school. We packed the kids up and headed to our families condo in Eden. Getting there was a lot harder than planned, twice I realized we had forgotten something right as we got on the freeway entrance, so twice Rob had to get off at the next exit. We finally made it on the road and the kids where great travelers like usual.

While up there we went swimming everyday, ate to much junk and had a Harry Potter marathon. We didn't get through all of the movies but we where up until at least midnight trying. The kids had a lot of fun and we enjoy the time in the sun. Even Emme loved swimming, and Kathryn got the hang of floaties. It was a ton of fun but hard to come home and get ready for school.

Pictures

My favorite!! She has the sweetest disposition.

A few of the pictures we took of Emme in her blessing dress (Late, I know). We have a bunch of other but these are just a few of the favorites.

Love this one!

Pictures of Kathryn because she didn't want to be left out.

Here are a few of the fun pictures we took of Tanner for his baptism.

Balloon Fest

Every August there is a Balloon Fest in the park behind our house. Every August we are woken up by all the noise at about 6:30 at the latest. The kids love getting up and going outside in their pj's to watch the balloons from the backyard. I love it because I don't even have to get dressed to give my kids this great experience. On Friday morning the kids watch the balloons from the yard and we even woke Kat up to enjoy the festivities. That night Rob set the tent up and had a camp out with the boys. Then they got up early Saturday and rode their bikes to the park to really enjoy the festival. We then went to breakfast and had a great time as a family.

Chinese

Wes got moved from the wait list for dual immersion at Draper. He will be learning Mandarin Chinese. I am super excited for him but also nervous because we will not be able to help him. I will be going to two different schools this year and will miss being able to stay home while the kids walk home. I am hoping that it will get us on a good schedule and routine for the girls. It just sucks as I will have to wake at least one if not both girls up from naps. It will all be worth it if I can give my kids the best opportunities possible.

Tanner's Baptism

We are so proud of Tanner and his choice to be baptized. We love his wonderful spirit and he is such a joy to have in our family. We are grateful for all the family that came to support Tanner. He had a great time and enjoyed all the love that he received.
