Bathroom is finally done!!

Now I just need to decide how I want to decorate. I haven't got a clue what colors to do or what I want to put on the wall above the toilet. Oh and now that this bathroom is done Rob decided to start tearing out the boys bath downstairs. I am so ready for all construction to be done. It just seems never ending.

Cabo Day 8

Today we hung out until it was time to check out then headed into San Jose one last time for last minute souvenirs. We then headed to the airport to go home. It was a wonderful vacation and a well needed one. Thank you Bry for all the good times, and thank you parents for watching the rug rats.

Cabo Day 7

Today we went to Sorito's Beach (spelling?) so that Rob could get some surfing in. We had a long drive with very vague directions to a great beach on the Pacific side. I was surprised we actually found it, but it was a great place for beginning surfers and boogie boarding. We laid by the beach, swam and Rob tried surfing. For dinner the men went to Guacamaya's again while I stayed behind to rest. We got all packed up and I ended up in bed early.

Cabo Day 7

Today we went to Los Cabos to see lover's beach, the arch, divorce beach and pelican beach. We took a glass bottom boat out and had planned on spending most the day playing on the beach and snorkeling. The only problem is that Bryan took a leap off the boat and crashed shoulder first throwing his shoulder out of the socket. He was in a ton of pain and it took a while to get it put back in. It did make a great story and was pretty funny to watch but definitely ruined his day.

We played at lover's beach for a short time and then headed to Pelican Beach for a little snorkeling. It was a little crazy as boats, birds and people where everywhere. We saw a few cool fish but after getting hit by a boat on the shoulder I decided I was done it was a little to crazy.

We ended up leaving earlier than planned stopped to get Ibuprofen for Bryan and then headed to Guacamaya's for dinner again.

My little helper! Kathryn is such a good helper she tried to shovel and stayed out almost the entire time. I love her cute smiles but she is so naughty.

Cabo Day 6

Today was the guys golf day, so we took the morning slow and then the men left and I laid by the pool most the day. We ended up at Applebee's for dinner, as I was craving chicken strips and fries. I think everyone had a great time and I know the guys thought the golf was wonderful. A hard but beautiful course and they had a great time.

Cabo Day 5

Today we drove forever to the middle of nowhere to go snorkeling at Cabo Pulmo. We had to drive on dirt roads and battle the cattle for the road. It was a pretty drive and there where a lot of cool cacti, and flowers.
The beach was empty! There was only one other family who came after we did and they didn't stay long. We got to really enjoy the quiet.

We had no idea what these bones where but they where huge and very cool. We stopped at a little grocery stand to get cold drinks on the way out. Rob and Bryan where amazed that a 6 or 7 year old was manning the counter with only a younger half naked brother around. There wasn't an adult in site.

As Rob put it "nice hair Carol" we had to go and shower before the guys would be seen with me in public. We then headed to a little local joint Guacamaya's for real Mexican food.
The food was really good and very cheap! We had a great time!

Cabo Day 4

Today was a another pool day, which again was very relaxing. We also had the opportunity to watch water aerobics. It was hilarious to watch all these old tourists get involved. we had a good laugh at their expense!

Later in the afternoon we decided to go to Cabo san Lucas and get dinner. We tried to go to Cabo Wabo but didn't feel like waiting forever so we ended up at Johnny Rockets for burgers and fries. I forgot my camera so hence no pictures. We stopped at Walmart on the way back to pick up a few more lunch items. All in all it was a very relaxing day!

Cabo Day 3

Today was spent snorkeling and laying around on the beach. We went to two different beaches(Chileno and Santa Maria). It was a lot of fun, harder to snorkel because I wasn't used to fighting bigger waves.

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant again and also listened to a Jazz band that they had. It was a great day and the food was awesome!

Cabo Day 2

Today was a lazy day. This was our view from the condo balcony. It was great to wake up and hear the waves.
We enjoyed the pool and the sun most of the day.
Then headed into downtown San Jose Del Cabo. We walked around then ended to an Italian restaurant that we heard was good for dinner.

The guys had to have calamari for an appetizer and they enjoyed while I couldn't get over the way they looked and smelled. YUCK!!!

We then waited around while watching the locals gather for a festival. We stayed and watched a little, it was a lot of fun. They had a belly dancer, a singer and a band of fifteen year olds that where great. WE had a great time!!
