The boys started school today!! I can't believe that summer is over and that these boys are getting as old as they are. Robbie was not excited to start school, Tanner didn't really care that much and Wes was super excited. They each got to get a few new shirts and of course Gibba took them to pick out their new shoes. Shoe shopping with Gibba is one of the boys highlights of going back to school. She lets them get pretty much which ever shoes they want. Robbie was so picky this year that we finally let him order them online, and are just hoping that they fit right. The boys where even picky about their haircuts this year, no more buzz cuts for us. Hopefully we will have an amazing year.
Westin 2nd Grade
He is back at Draper doing the Dual Immersion program and loves it. He loves learning Chinese and only lost a little this summer. He is very pleased with his teachers Ms. Lee and Ms. Watts. He is glad to have a lot of friends in his class from last year. He is also very glad to have someone to carpool with this year, a neighbor has just started the program and Wes has already offered him help if he needs it. I am so glad that he loves school.
Tanner 3rd Grade
Tanner is super excited for his teacher Mrs Law because we have heard nothing but good things and she has a fish tank in the class. I heard about all the fish and their names the first day. He has lots of friends from last year in his class and even one girl that has been in every class with him since kindergarten. He came home very excited and ready to start the routine of school and homework. He is so mellow and so I am glad that he came home happy and ready for the new year.
Robbie 5th Grade
Robbie was not enthused about school but came home pretty happy. His teacher is Mrs McDonald and I am hoping that we have a great last year. I can't believe that this is his last year in elementary, 6th grade will move to the middle schools next year and so I am hoping to old on to y little boy for just a little longer. He was a little disappointed that none of his close friends where in his class, but I am hoping he can really put him self out there and make new ones. Hopefully we wont be to overwhelmed with the work load this year and have a fun year. (He is already excited for his state report)
