Kathryn's Stats
4 years old
Weight: 33.73 lbs. (40%)
Height: 39.57 Inches (47%)
This little girl just turned 4! She still proves to one of our challenges. She is full of energy and independence. She is trying to be very self sufficient, which is not always good. She loves to dance, and has an amazing imaginations. She goes a hundred miles an hour and doesn't seem to ever slow down. She is a joy unless she gets it in her head she wants something and we disagree. She is feisty and holds her own when it comes to her brothers. She is truly a joy in our lives but by the end of the day I am exhausted. We love you Kat!

Three Girls in the Bed
We see Sydney a lot and the girls are finally all getting along. They had a great time and spent a good long while snuggling and giggling in Kathryn's bed. It was great to see the two older girls being nice to Emme.

Kathryn's Birthday
![]() |
| Here Kathryn is right before she broke down in tears. |
For Kathryn's Fourth birthday we had family over for a little party. We had cake and ice cream and opened presents. Kathryn had a great time and loved almost everything she got. There was one present that she did not love. She got a Walter doll(from the Muppet movie) from Grandma Bonnie and Papa Walt. When she took the tissue paper out she looked down in to the sack and immediately pushed it away and said"I don't want it". Rob proceeded to pull the doll out to show her, she burst into tears and wont have anything to do with the doll. We are not sure why it scares her but she has no problem with the fact that Emme loves it. Emme sleeps with it every night and carries it around the house. Kathryn still wont go near it. We all had a good laugh. It was a great night even with the tears and she especially loved her butterfly cake.
Happy Birthday Kathryn!!

Westin's Baptism
Wes was so excited to be Baptized. He had several family members that where not going to be able to make it and so we discussed possibly waiting a month. He didn't want to wait he has so much enthusiasm and wanted to just go ahead with out people. I was so proud of him and the fact that he made is discussion for him and not for others. He is an amazing kid and I am shocked by his knowledge and insight to the gospel. He is truly a joy in our lives and we are grateful for him. We had a nice dinner afterwards with the family that was able to come and he had a great time. Days like this are in my top best days ever, the spirit and joy that you feel as a parent make all the hard times with it. So proud of you Wes!
