4 Months

14 lbs. 9 oz. (73%)
24.8 in. (72%)
Kathryn has gotten so big! We are loving having her in our family. She has started laughing and she loves to talk(must be a girl thing). One of her favorite places to hang out is in her saucer, where she likes to practice standing up, and she has a view of the entire living room/kitchen. She has started drooling like crazy and enjoys blowing bubbles. My favorite thing that she has started doing is kissing. Yes she gives the grosses yet wonderful kisses. Wes is the only one who refuses to let her kiss him he says it is just to gross. Tanner and Robbie think it is hilarious and are constantly trying to get more kisses and then can't stop laughing. I also love how cuddly she is, and she is finally let dad hold her.

End of Preschool

Yeah Preschool is over. No more driving 20 minutes in the morning, the boys are glad to get some pj and tv time. Me I am glad that I can stay in my robe for as long as I want, and don't have to worry about Kathryn screaming in the back seat because she is hungry.

The last month is always so much fun for the boys, they get to go on there favorite field trip to the natural history museum, and they get to have a party the last day of school. The museum was a lot of fun, and they boys get so excited about all the new things they get to see. I love to watch the curiosity and wonder that shows up on their faces.

We also had Tanner's preschool graduation, wow he is done and will be moving on to bigger things. I am extremely glad that we opted to have him be the oldest rather then the youngest in school. He has grown so much in the last year and it amazes me how much he knows and that he finally likes school. (Hopefully that will move on to next year) He memorized and presented the nursery rhyme "hey diddle diddle" I think this must be his favorite. He did an awesome job. It is a little bitter sweet knowing that Tanner is getting older and more independent, I sometimes miss his chubby little cheeks and his baby smile. After we went for ice cream with the family, the boys love this tradition.(but really who doesn't love ice cream)

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was wonderful. Robbie made me a hot pad at school; Tan and Wes made me picture frames and filled them with great pictures of themselves. I just love homemade gifts. I even got to wear the present that I bought for my self. Rob was wonderful and tried to keep everyone feed and happy. In the afternoon we headed to Park City, where the boys got to ride horses, play with the baby goats, see the chickens and baby rabbits. The thing they laved the most was jumping on the tramp and playing with all the other kids. I enjoyed visiting with my mom and the rest of Papa's family. The food was amazing and got Rob very excited for barbecue season.( Yeah!! he cooks not me!!)
After Park City we headed to Rob's moms for dessert. Thank you Rob for the amazing berry pie. We love being so close to family that it allows us to see almost everyone.
I have to say how grateful I am for the amazing women in my life. I have the best examples when it comes to being a terrific mom. I love all the love and support that they give to me. I am especially grateful for my mom who has always been there for me and never judges and allows me to make my own mistakes without being critical. I love all that she does for me and I am glad to say that she is one of my very best friends. I LOVE YOU MOM!! I also need to say a special thanks to Shauna for raising such an amazing son. You did an awesome job and I am glad that we are such close friends. LOVE YOU!!!

Create Your Own

Idaho

My mom, Kathryn and I had he opportunity to go visit my sister and her family at the first of the month. We flew out on buddy passes (thank you David), and the flight wasn't to bad my mom did walk the aisle with Kathryn until she finally feel a sleep. The people in front of us kept us entertained. The wife had brought all sorts of food (strawberries, apples kiwi peanut butter, humus, carrots etc.) my mom kept joking that she had brought the store with her. All in all it was a memorable experience.

We decided to start the vacation out right and stopped to eat a really great brewery. The burger was amazing and the start of gaining about ??lbs. The trip was filled with lots of eating out and Brandan cooking amazing food. I just love to eat .

We also managed to do a lot of shopping, I miss having my sis around to shop with. I got my mother's day gift. ( yes I bought my own gift, and I love it!) I just enjoyed being with my best friends.

We hiked and walked around the lake. I realized how out of shape I am. I also realized how heavy Kathryn has gotten. It was a challenge to carry her up hill on the hike. It is so beautiful up there. I was glad for the relaxing time we got after all the hiking and walking.

All in all it was wonderful trip. I was glad to get home to my boys and I think they actually missed me. I am so appreciative of all the family that was willing to help Rob and I out. The boys had a blast.
