First Day of School

Well it is official, I have a first grader. Robbie is very excited and has loved school so far. He is a much happier kid when he is in school. The other boys have enjoyed Robbie being gone, there is a lot less fighting and they play well together. The only problem is that my house is now too quite and I do have to admit that I miss a little, the day is just so long.

More exciting news for Robbie is that he has finally lost his first tooth. I feel bad though because the tooth fairies were not on top of things, he slept with the tooth under his pillow for two days. He was happy when he finally got his money. A week later his lost another tooth, and mom lost the tooth. Hopefully I can get the hang of this tooth business.

Another Cabin Trip

The whole family headed to the cabin last weekend, yes dad was able to come. We had a lot of fun and worked hard as well. We chopped down two trees(lucky no one was hurt) then we had to chop and carry all the wood to the wood box. I was so happy with my boys they were such good little workers, carrying and hauling wood. Dad helped fix the deck as well, now it's a little safer.

The boys went on the four wheelers with dad. They went on a few hikes and Grandad even made them swords out of wood. They love being up there and being able to do about anything. The boys even got to drive the car, we only had a little off roading. We had a lot of fun.

Tanner's Birthday

Tanner is a lucky kid because when you have 4 sets of grandparents it means a lot of celebrating for your birthday. Tanner wanted to go to chuck e cheese for his little party with the grandmas, so we all had pizza and watched dad cheat at the games. It was a lot of fun for the kids.

Oh, and if you see a pink flamingo in our yard it was one of Tanner's presents. He couldn't decide what he wanted so Papa and Grandma Bonnie where teasing that they would get him a pink flamingo. So with a lot of laughs he put it in the front yard and loves it. Gee thanks, Papa! He did get other gifts put the Flamingo was the most unusual.

Bear Lake

We headed to Bear Lake the first weekend in August to see Rob's Dad and family. Tanner was able to celebrate his 5th birthday on the beach. We had superman cake and he got a lot of great gifts. We had a great time building sandcastles on the beach, and the boys had a great time on the trampoline. The boys all went on the boat with dad, Mom was band to the beach (oh well someone had to watch the dog). The boys love tubing and watching dad waterski and wakeboard. We had a lot of fun, thanks family!
