Chinese New Year

We went to Chinese New Year celebration at Cottonwood High School for FHE. It was a nice change of pace and it was fun for Westin to have us support him. He was very excited to go and show his brothers some of the things that he has been introduced to through the dual immersion program. Kathryn enjoyed all the music and dancing. I think the boys enjoyed it as well even though they wont admit it. I loved being able to let my children enjoy a new culture and experience the diversity and beauty of others.

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Rob turned the big 3-0 yesterday. He wasn't thrilled with the idea of a big party so we opted for a family dinner at home. His parents came over and we had Rob's favorite, steak, crab and root beer floats. It was a very mellow and relaxing evening. I am so grateful for Rob in my life and the last decade that we have spent together and I am looking forward to the next one. Happy Birthday Love!!

3 Years Old!

Weight 29.8 lbs (41%)
Height 37.2 in (55%)

Kathryn is three and full of life! She is so much fun to be around. i am amazed by her imagination and the dramatics that she is capable of. She is a sweet girl and is always using her manners. She loves to dance, sing and anything princess. We are so grateful to have her in our lives.

Birthday Fun!!!

In the morning we made her breakfast and let her open a few presents. She was full of excitement and had a hard time not opening her other presents. We hung out and finished getting last minute things ready before family came over.

For Kathryn's birthday we had family over for cake and ice cream. I had spent the week decorating the house in pink. The boys think I over did it but oh she loved all the pink. I also made her a castle cake and she loved it!!! It took me forever and I ended up running out of time, so it didn't get as decorated as I wanted but she was one happy girl. She was super excited for all the fun gifts, I loved watching her big eyes as she opened every present. After presents we had cake and ice cream and spent the rest of the evening visiting and playing. She had a great birthday!!!

Girls Day Out

We have been getting ready for Kathryn's birthday on Saturday so I decided to give the girls a break and take them to the Aquarium. We had a ton of fun and loved seeing the new exhibit with Otters. Kat always loves the aquarium and Emme enjoys seeing all the fun fish as well. We had a great time.

A Day Off

So we love Holidays at our house. We use these days to stay in our jammies, listen to 80's music and play with legos. At least that is what my boys did. They had a great time just hanging out with the music as loud as possible and building a zip line for the legos they made. Kathryn played with her princesses and I cleaned the upstairs. It was a very nice day and I am glad that every so often the boys have a down day.

Sunday Afternoon

I love Sunday's when your kids decide to play together and there is no fighting, just fun. Love that they try and include the little girls when hanging out and playing. Love that I didn't have to do much but sit back and watch the fun.

Playing around

This girl is so full of character and drama. Such a joy to be around.

Nothing better than a thumb sucker!! She is so sweet!!

Early Birthday Present

Rob got me an early birthday present. He surprised me with the camera that we had been discussing for a while now. I have always wanted a really nice camera because I have always loved taking pictures and every once in awhile I get a really awesome shot. So to my surprise he got me a camera with two lens. I am super excited to start playing with new toy. I am hoping to take a few photography classes in this year and hopefully we will all enjoy the pictures.

Ski Day

We had a great time skiing on Saturday with my mom. We love spending time together skiing. We had a lot of laughs, warm weather, and one big spill. I followed the kids into the little terrain park which they call the obstacle course, So me being the awesome mom that I am went and tried stuff with them. Just so you know the rail is harder than it looks. I fell super hard landing on my right side. My head hit the hard snow and my shoulder took a lot of the fall. I still have a slight headache and my arm hurts like crazy. I am okay, more mad at my stupidity and the fact that I broke my sunglasses. But we had a great time and I loved spending the time with my boys.
