First Bath

It was great that they did her first bath right in our room, I always missed this part of the hospital experience.

New Arrival

Five hours and only 4 minutes of pushing and we are excited to say we finally have a little baby girl. She scared us a little, she came out with the umblical cord wrapped around her neck, twice and also around her wrist. She was a little blue, but she still got great apgar scores. They took her to the baby bed and got the oxygen ready but luckily she never needed it. She was very alert and happy baby, she came out wanting to eat.

Last Prego Picture

9 Months

This was taken a couple of weeks ago, when I was just beginning my 9th month. Sorry I am so far behind, It has been a very busy January. I had two baby showers, Thank you ladies, it was wonderful to get almost all the things we needed. There was plenty of pink which made all the boys in the house happy, they are very excited for a little girl.

Since this picture was taken I have started to drop, and things are definitely moving along. On Thursday morning at about 4:00 I started having contractions, we headed to the hospital. After two hours of constant contractions, but no progression they sent me home with a morphine shot. Well the pain went away but the contractions kept coming, finally later in the afternoon the contractions became sporadic and finally stopped. I have never had a false alarm before but it was not fun at all. Rob was very irritated because he is so excited and ready for this baby. My dad said what do you expect it is a girl, they are a pain. Well at least the contractions got Rob more ready and keeps asking what needs to get done before we have the baby.

Christmas

Christmas was wonderful, a little hectic with 4 sets of grandparents. We did a lot of visiting, eating and the kids made out with a ton of presents. We loved seeing all the family and wish we could see everyone more often. The boys got everything that they really wanted, Santa comes through for them every year. It was also fun to see how the boys are finally understanding what Christmas is really about and enjoying the family more then the presents.
