Reading Time

I love my kids! I love that Robbie is always willing to read to his siblings, especially Kathryn.
Kathryn loves reading books and even more so when it is her big brother doing the reading. It didn't take long for all the kids to end up in the room crowding Robbie as he read. It is great having big kids to help the little ones why I put laundry away.

Field Trip

I went on Robbie's Field Trip today to Victor's Pond, so much fun. First of all the pond is right down the street from our house and I have leaved here two years, two years and never ever been there, I am not sure I realized it was there. The kids had a lot of fun and I enjoyed watching Robbie with his friends. But the best thing was that Robbie held my hand. I was shocked that around all those kids he would still want to hold my hand. He truly is a sweet heart. I have to admit that by the end of the trip I was exhausted, and realize that I am soooo out of shape.

Five Months

Kathryn is five months old, wow how time flies. She is such a sweet heart. Some of her favorite things to do right now are, eat her toes, walk around in the walker(trying to get charlie), hang out with the boys or dad, and she loves food. She thinks that she is big enough for real food, and to be honest I am a little more relaxed and let her try things I never did with the other kids. She started sitting up a couple of days ago, and loves it. She is still teething but it doesn't seem to be quite as bad. I am still amazed at how fast she is growing. We just love having her here!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!! Rob you are the best daddy and I appreciate all the hard work that you do. I love to see how much the kids adore you. You are always there to make us laugh and give us the best hugs ever. We love you!!!

Barbecue

Every year we get invited to a barbecue with Rob's neighbors(more like family), we had a blast! The boys love to play in the dirt and throw balls and play with the other older kids. Yesterday the kids even caught some bugs, one of which was a huge wasp looking thing. We had a fire, and I have to say I love that all the boys young and old had to play and have their turn with the fire. Is it a boy thing? The boys loved it! There is nothing better then fresh mountain air, good friends and great food. No pictures sorry, but hopefully Gibba will share.

Teeth

I am going to vent for just one minute, so bare with me. My daughter is teething, I know that babies get fussy and that they hurt but honestly does she have to scream for 45 minutes, several times a day. My boys were bad teethers, or so I thought, they fussed and we lived on orejel, but they never screamed and cried uncontrollably. I want my happy, loving, content girl back. The good side I think that they are almost through, I hope. I am not sure I can't take much more of this I am emotionally drained. Hopefully after a little break tonight, I will be able to last a few more days. I am just glad my hubby is willing to take on the screamer, so I can relax and see a movie. Thanks babe you are the best!

8 Years

WOW, 8 years and I still love this guy!! No really, I am so grateful for my husband and all that he does for me and the family. I love him so much and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to marry my best friend.

A few things I love about Rob:

He always makes me laugh.
I'm able to be my goofy self around him.
He works hard to provide for our family.
He tries to help out when I ask.
He stays up late with me and talks about everything and nothing.
He always listens to me.
He makes me feel like I am the amazing person in the world.

Oh, and the biggest HE KNOWS THAT I AM ALWAYS RIGHT! (he will even tell you so)

I Love you babe and hope that the next 8 years are even better then the last. Thank you for always being there for me, always making me laugh, cuddling me when I need it and leaving me alone when I need the space. You are the best thing that ever happened to me!

LOVE YOU!!

Zoo

We went to the zoo yesterday with some friends. It had been a while since we last went, the boys where so excited. We spent a lot longer then we usually do and saw everything. Kathryn did great and loved riding in the stroller. I think the only animal she looked at was a small monkey that was running back and forth right in front of her. It really amazes me how much my kids know about animals. Tanner even knew which snake was a king snake and I am pretty sure he didn't read the sign. We had a blast but we all went home tired.
I just feel bad that Robbie had school and didn't get to come.

This Week

So this week Kathryn started rolling over, back to front. She ends up getting stuck on her tummy and gets mad. I am sure she will get it worked out that she can roll over both ways. She loves to wiggle and move, I think we are in trouble!
Kathryn also had baby food for the first time. She had squash and she loved it, after that first bite anyway. I just hope she doesn't start eating as much as my boys did (2 to 3 jars a sitting). I think this time around I will be feeding what ever we are having as soon as she is ready. No reason I can't mash her up some peas, right.
I can't believe how big she is getting!

St. George

Ok, so I am so bad, I missed posting about our weekend to St. George, it was a while ago. So sorry!!! We have the best friends in the world and they invited to go to St. George with them. We love that they still enjoy doing things with us even though we have the four kids that get dragged along as well. Not only to do they put up with the kids but I think they actually enjoy it. We did some hiking, swimming, movies, eating out and the guys went golfing. Thank you so much for taking us with you guys.

Women in My life

So I was looking around at book club last week and couldn't shake the feeling of how grateful I am. I have so many amazing women that surround me on a daily basis. I am grateful for all their love and support. They are always there to listen and give advice, laugh and take a little bit of the burden off my shoulders. I only wish that some day I might be as great as these women are.
