We had several days where Tanner got to celebrate his birthday. Tuesday night Grandad and Nana came over to visit and he loved his present and all the attention that he got.
Wednesday was his actually birthday so we headed to the zoo with Grandma Bonnie for a little fun. We had a great time and the kids never get tired of watching the animals. We then had his favorite dinner, spaghetti and then a little cake. It wasn't super exciting as Dad had young men's so we just spend the evening playing outside. I think he had a good day but sadly we didn't let him open any of his presents. We decided to wait until the other Grandparents came over.
Thursday night the grandparents came over and we had pulled pork sandwiches and yummy homemade oreo cake. Love that he just wanted a yummy cake, he didn't care if it was cool he just wanted it to taste good. We then let him open his presents which he was super excited about. It was a great evening and he enjoyed putting all of those legos together.
To finish off the week of Tanner's birthday Rob and I took Tan out for dinner and a movie. Tanner chose Toscano's and then we went and saw Men in Black 3. We where also able to get ice cream while we waited for our movie to start. It was a lot of fun just taking Tanner out and getting some one on one time. Happy Birthday Tanner, we love you tons!
