I am officially tired!!! I feel like this week has been crazy and it is only Wednesday. We have started the remodel on our bathroom. Demolition stage is so dirty and I now feel like my house is covered in a layer of dust. Oh well it will have to wait. I picked out tile, Rob hates it so now I feel like I have to start all over. We have hit a couple of problems and are not exactly sure how we are going to fix them. The joys of remodel, it never goes the way you plan.
To make all of this worse I feel like my kids are taking advantage of me. Their room is a disaster and every time I tell them to get it cleaned up, they are doing something else. So needless to say the Wii is going to disappear in our house for three days. The kids aren't that mad about the Wii but where more upset about me not reading the The Lightning Thief tonight. I feel like I need a whole day with out any kids home so I can go and deep, deep clean their room. I started and well thanks to everything else, never finished. I want to go in with a giant garbage bag and just get ride of everything. I wont but I wish I could.
Hopefully a good night sleep will give me the energy to make it through tomorrow. We have Doctor appointments and dress rehearsal for grandparents day at the same time. I am a little nervous about Rob taking Kat to the Doctor's as he has never done it and she is most likely getting shots. Plus Papa is coming to work on the bathroom again, I have a mountain of laundry to fold, and need to finish cleaning the basement.
Does life ever slow down enough so you can catch up??

there will be moments when you feel like you can catch your breath. but as a general rule, I'm sorry to say you will feel like you're playing catch up. Nothing like a remodel to throw you off your game!
Girls Night???? Are you ready? I know that I am and I only have one! Let me know if you are game or a night on the town with old "tired" friends.
I know how you feel! Grandparents last week was overwhelming.. it seems like it shouldn't because really? It's for grandparents not us, right? yeah right.
Is it bad to go through your boys' room and put everything in a garbage bag? What if we made them earn their things back?? hmmm.. just had that thought so I'll have to stir that one around to see if it works.
And last of all... congrats on the remodel (even though it's a ton of sacrifice!) and yes, those days suck BUT... the day after, take a break. Do nothing but read a book, enjoy lunch with friends, watch a movie in the middle of the afternoon (never tried that but thinking of it...)... so the day after you take your break, you'll have that crazy Wed all over again! LOL
