Insomnia
Ok, so I am having the worst insomnia ever. I am so exhausted after kids, house remodeling and just going to bed to late. Then as I lay in bed wide a wake until 3 am, I am frustrated and annoyed that everyone else (especially Rob) is sound asleep. I am constantly thinking about what needs to get done in the basement, what needs to be done for the kids, and what needs to be done before the baby comes. By the time morning comes around I am so not ready to start my huge list of things to do. I think it is time for a little sleep aid. Hopefully, I will function just a little better after a good nights sleep.

Annie, I'm so sorry!! I've been struggling with sleep issues for a year now and it's SO frustrating! Before I was pregnant I got a prescription for Trazodone which the doc prescribed because he thought my "mom job" had just taken its toll on me. He was right and it really helped. Anyway, I'm prego now and can't take it so I take Unisom every night. It's just OTC and helps. I also found a website that was VERY helpful. It is http://insomnia-free.com/ . They have a step-by-step program (drug free) to help you get back to sleep. I did it for about a week and was sleeping SO much better!
Anyway, good luck with everything. Feel free to email or call me! camigirlut at hotmail . com. I totally understand what you are going through. Seeing your hubby snoozing while you toss and turn all night is THE WORST !!
I hate insomnia. I go through months of that at a time, for years now. It was so bad, I started doing things at night while I couldn't sleep so there would be less during the day except for kids.
I know most of your to-do list is a day thing. But I would do my laundry, mop the floors, clean rooms and closets around my sleeping children.
Good luck and hopefully soon your mind can take a rest so your body can rest. Just remember, in the end ~ it always turns out all right!
