We started our sports season at the second Saturday of the month. It has been really busy as all three boys decided to try a different sport. Westin started us out with basketball. I am so impressed at how well he can handle the ball, he is also great at making baskets. His team hasn't done very well but he has played great, and I think it is good for him to learn sportsmanship how how to loose gracefully.
Robbie was the next sport to start. He decided on baseball and I think we may have found his sport. He is amazing and absolutely loves it. He plays catcher and first base regularly and has gotten several people out. He can hit the ball and isn't afraid to slide into home, which means a lot of laundry for me.(Any ideas on the best way to get his white pants white again?) He is practicing his pitching so that he might be able to pitch later in the season. I am so glad that he is having fun and that he is so good at it.
Tanner was the last sport to start and he chose soccer. He has done a great job as this is his first time playing every. He is the biggest and one of the best players on the team. He makes a great goalie and is amazing at defense. The last game he played I was amazed at how much he had improved and loved watching him play. He played the whole game and hustled to be where ever he needed to be. He even hit the ball with his head to get it away from the other team. I hope that he keeps having fun and improving.
All in all it will be a busy but fun couple of weeks I only wish I could go to every game. The girls are pretty good at watching and playing so that we can focus on the game as well. We have had lots of help getting boys where they need to be and I am so appreciative of the families help and support.
