Sometimes having hardwood floors isn't always the best. Rob left for London on Saturday morning so the kids and I had a quite Sunday to ourselves. The kids where all having a fun time, until they decided to race down the hallway. Kathryn was dragging her blanket behind when Wes accidentally stepped on it. She went flying and hit really hard. She had a horrible bloody nose and bloody lip. It took awhile to get the bleeding to stop but she was a trooper. She ended up spending the rest of the night on the couch watching Despicable Me.
Then on Monday morning Emme who is learning to go down stairs decided to go head first down them. She tumbled all the way down and my heart sank. It was one of those moments when you see it start to happen but can't get there fast enough. She had a big red mark on her face and a few bruises on her leg. She was pretty good considering Hippo was in the wash getting a bath. She was more devastated to not have Hippo then to have gone down the stairs.
Why do things always seem to happen when Rob is away on Business?

It always happens when the hubs is gone! Poor brave girls. :( Glad they both survived.
